Amsterdam’s very own Patta is collaborating with Nike Sportswear to release the new ‘Publicity. Publicity. Wohooooow!’ Collection which is highlighted by the Air Max 90 x 95 hybrid.
Following news of an Air Span 2 designed by both parties arriving in the near future, Nike has officially revealed its latest collab with Amsterdam’s Patta. Dubbed the “Publicity. Publicity. Wohooooow!” collection, it’s inspired by travel and human interaction. The name comes from the “happenings” of avant garde artists in the 1960s.
“Traveling. Visiting each other. Getting to know each other. For us, that is where the collaboration between Nike and Patta started,” Patta’s Vincent Van de Waal told Nike.
“The Air Max 90 is a robust classic, and the 95 has always felt like a futuristic design; combining both forms a mix between classic and more technical design.” Says Patta’s Van de Waal.
As you can see this model features the Nike Air Max 90 upper while the midsole and outsole is taken from the Nike Air Max 95. Looking closer it features a Black upper while Dark Red detailing lands on the Nike Swoosh while Frozen Yellow lands on the tongue. In addition there is a second colorway releasing which is highlighted in Dark Blue.
