Nike has cultivated the Air Max line-up for the last 35 years, developing many a new model throughout the technology’s life. And for 2022, the brand is ushering in the Air Max Scorpion, a lifestyle proposition that could be making its debut later this September. Revealed first colorway, the silhouette’s “Phantom” colorway sports a light, cream-based knit, with Swooshes and branding placed atop in a dark grey shade. Adjacent, the laces and tongue match the rest of the woven upper, while the pull tab behind opts for yellow pastels. This shade appears again across the sockliner — visually backlighting the Circular Design logo — as well as the sole unit, which features an opaqua finish across much of its cushioning.
